    PROJECT DETAILS:

    In the spring of 2009, Arrington Watkins and Gilbane entered into a Design/Build contract with Recycle America to design and construct the Northwest Regional Material Recovery Facility. This facility will handle the recycling needs for the Northwest corner of the Valley for Waste Management. Amenities include a drive up tipping floor for the Waste Management vehicles to empty recycled material for sorting. The recycled material is processed through separate sorting equipment for glass, aluminum, and paper. It is then bailed, bundled, and processed for distribution. Additional support facilities include administrative offices, staff locker rooms, break room, and a maintenance / welding shop.

    Phoenix, Arizona

    PROJECT DETAILS:

    This project includes a 25,000 sq ft one-story Police Precinct Station and a 4,600 sq ft Vehicle Maintenance Building. The Station contains administrative offices, holding cells for adults and juveniles, officer lockers and restrooms, showers and workout room, break room and storage areas. There will be a 3-bay shooting range, a large community room for public meetings and a briefing room for 30 officers. The Vehicle Maintenance Building houses 4 generous work bays, a tire changing area, lockers, offices, parts storage and other support spaces needed by Public Works.
