PROJECT DETAILS:
A 60,000 sf private psychiatric hospital was designed for 74 beds and master planned for 150 beds. The facility was designed to provide a residential atmosphere for patients who require varying degrees of supervision. The institution quality, typical of most hospitals, was minimized. Careful attention was given to day-lighting, maximizing exterior view, maintaining human scale, and utilizing soft textures and warm colors to create this residential feel.

This surgical eye theater and examination/administrative office complex was designed for a group of five ophthalmologists. The scope of work included expansion of an existing structure and a complete interior renovation that included two operatories and recover room for four patients, examination rooms, administrative offices, staff lounge, receptionist, and public waiting area. All areas were designed in accordance with ADA guidelines.
