Doug joined Arrington Watkins in 2024 after serving for over four years as the Controller for a nationwide specialty lender based in Newport Beach, California. Prior to that, he spent a decade as a Senior Manager at a local public accounting firm, advising small businesses on strategy, accounting, financial planning, and taxes. He also assisted approximately 200 individuals and families with tax preparation and financial planning. Before 2011, Doug held CFO roles with various contractors and real estate developers and had a brief tenure in banking as VP of business lending. Doug earned his Arizona CPA certification in 2002 and became a Chartered Global Management Accountant in 2012. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, playing Pickleball, and following college sports.
