Job Summary
Participates in conceptual design and provides full support through the entire project.
Coordinates with Project Management, other architects and consultants. Develops and
represents a lead technical viewpoint on projects, ensuring compliance with regulations, and
collaborating with clients and stakeholders to deliver innovative and functional design.

Key Responsibilities
• Carries out complex tasks requiring development and implementation of new or
improved techniques and procedures.
• Participates in the iterative design process by preparing design alternatives, contributing
technical input, and ensuring coordination between aesthetics and technical
performance.
• Coordinates, distributes and reviews work and information of consultants, engineers,
and internal staff to ensure design alignment and project consistency
• Ensures accuracy and timeliness of finished plans, specifications or approval of
materials and construction
• Prepares architectural drawings and technical details with increasing independence,
ensuring they meet applicable codes, standards, and project goals. Works alongside the
Project Architect to refine construction details.
• Produces and refines project documentation, including schematic designs, design
development drawings, and construction documents, under the supervision of licensed
architects.
• Assists in field surveys and site observations, documenting architectural features of
structures and translating field conditions into accurate virtual models.
• Utilizes Revit, and other rendering tools to create compelling visualizations, virtual
models, and presentation graphics.
• Manages the BIM model in REVIT and BIM 360 and monitors model quality for assigned
projects
• Provides technical support for BIM-enabled workflows and coordinates with internal
project teams to solve design and documentation challenges.
• Ensures compliance with local building codes, zoning requirements, and industry
standards. Stays informed of updates in codes, materials, and best practices to improve
the quality of deliverables.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff

Required Qualifications
• Registered Architect in the state of Arizona or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
• Strong understanding of Revit in creating and developing construction documents
• Knowledge of building codes, zoning laws and regulations
• Assist with management of project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively
